Owning a small business can be challenging. Navigating SEO, social media trends, cost of doing business, and more is a full-time job in itself, and that does not include the time it takes to photograph the actual sessions and then editing all the images.
So why do what I do?
Because in a world that is so divided, where violence is abundant and hate runs rampant, I see so much love and happiness within the couples and families that I photograph.
There IS still love in the world and it is so wonderful and reassuring. Seeing families hold each other close, couples melt into each other, and new parents flooded with joy is one of the most amazing things to witness.
In a world where anyone can put a filter on their photos to look skinnier, or have more makeup, I have a chance to show my clients how beautiful they are, just as they are.
When I deliver the completed galleries to my clients and they respond saying, “You made me feel beautiful”, THAT is what makes everything worth it.
THAT is the reason I LOVE what I do.
