Lex Breeden has been doing makeup since 2016, and started focusing on growing her business in 2021. She is based out of Harrisonburg, Virginia but will travel wherever she is needed!
I had the pleasure of working with Lex on a few different occasions and want to share her amazing talent and story!
How it began...
When working at a hotel in 2016, one of my coworkers asked me to do her makeup for a special event. Word of mouth never stopped bringing me business!
I primarily provide makeup services for weddings, boudoir, and special occasions. I also offer makeup lessons.
I want to provide an amazing, memorable experience. My main goal is to make each and every person that sits in my chair feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin. I love being a personal hype woman.
What about business challenges?
I would say that learning the business side of being a business owner has been tricky for me. Balancing all of the behind the scenes, advertising, corresponding with clients, and regular life can be tricky and overwhelming at times.
One of my favorite things is building long lasting relationships with my clients, and having the support of so many amazing people. Every time someone recommends me it makes my heart flutter because I feel SO grateful to be appreciated in this community!
What else would she like us to know?
I am extremely dedicated to my clients, my business, and most importantly my kids. I understand mom life, working mom life, business owner life, and all the things. I want people to know that no matter what I will try to be as relatable and easy going as possible. I will never bring any extra stress to the table!
